What a great Sunday! Today marked my first Sunday at the Grants Mill campus, and what a great day to be there. Pastor Larry had a great dedication message on wisdom, and worship was great. During "In Christ Alone/The Solid Rock," our special to close the service, it was just amazing to see the responses on people's faces. People were literally weeping over God's goodness, and what a joy it was to be able to help them (all of us, actually) come to a point where it's just so clear. Actually, I have to admit that He was totally in control of my worship, because if He hadn't have been, then there's no way I could have hit that G# after the key change. Ha. Plus, it was great to have so many friends and family there and for them to come and just thank us for all that we did. Then again, it wasn't really us. We just serve.
I spent the afternoon helping a friend move apartments. Then I just hung out with Jack and Maggie all afternoon. We actually escaped on a bit of a car ride. Jack really liked that I had my back seat down and my beach chair spread out back there. Doesn't he look happy?
I'm starting to make some major progress on this piano business. I owe it all to Nicki. Thanks, Nicki!
Alright, time for me to get these contacts out. Y'all have a great night!
Until tomorrow...
Drew
